Clinical

Supervision

for Counsellors & Trainee Counsellors

Clinical supervision is a process by which a qualified experienced Counselling supervisor provides an educational, supportive, and a collaborative space to the work of colleagues or trainees.

I am a qualified Clinical Supervisior, qualifying in 2021. I completed the CPCAB Level 6 in Clinical Supervision.

Clinical supervision aims to enhance professional development of professional counsellors and promote the well-being of both the counsellor and their clients.

The supervision relationship is based on trust and mutual respect. I create a safe, secure space to enable counsellors to, explore ideas, to discuss theoretical concepts to enhance their understanding and manage any safe guarding risks.

I will support you to manage your case load, monitor your practise and support both your professional and personal development.

In line with both Person Centered and Systemic Counselling, I work from the Seven Eyed model of supervision which underpins a collaborative, reflective and supportive way of working.

Cost

£65 for 90minutes

I offer concession rates for student counsellors in training.

"Jo creates a reassuring, friendly and professional atmosphere where I feel able to share all my concerns as a student counsellor (seeing clients for the first time, building a therapeutic relationship and all the anxieties that go along with that).  No matter how worried I am about things Jo always offers  encouragement and by the end of each supervision I believe I can do this!

Jo supports me in many aspects of my life as a counselling student from client work, to my studies, to supporting me with placement applications and  understanding my modality more.

I truly feel so lucky that I have found such a  wonderful supervisor.  Thanks Jo!"
